Ms. Sabury is the newly appointed Director for Trafficking in Person (TIP) at the TIP Secretariat under the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Seychelles. In her pivotal role, Ms. Sabury spearheads national efforts to combat human trafficking, coordinating policies, programs, and inter-agency collaborations to prevent trafficking, protect victims, and prosecute offenders. Her work involves strategic oversight of initiatives aimed at strengthening national capacity to address trafficking in persons, fostering partnerships with local and international stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with global anti-trafficking standards. Her extensive background in social work and leadership fortifies her ability to lead the Secretariat. She brings a wealth of experience in developing and managing critical support systems, such as the Psychosocial and Social Reintegration Unit, which she established during her tenure at the Division for Substance Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation (DSAPTR).

Her proven expertise in designing comprehensive harm reduction and reintegration programs aligns with the multifaceted challenges of victim support in trafficking cases. Her leadership as a district administrator and her experience managing complex government and community projects further enhance her capability to drive the TIP Secretariat's mission. With her dedication to improving systems, advocating for vulnerable populations, and fostering collaboration.
