The Ministry of Homeland Security and Civil Affairs is responsible for overseeing national security, public safety, and law enforcement.

Its portfolios include Internal Affairs,Internal Security, Public Safety and Homeland Coordination, Seychelles Police Force,Immigration & Civil Identity Systems, Seychelles Prison Services, Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency (SFRSA), National Information Sharing and Coordination Centre (NISCC), Regional Coordination Operations Centre (RCOC), and the Regional Fusion and Law Enforcement Centre for Safety and Security at Sea (REFLECS3).

The Ministry also leads the formulation of national security policies. It is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of citizens while maintaining the country’s security infrastructure.
